nut broke off inside piece that holds on control arm?

Default nut broke off inside piece that holds on control arm?

after a day of dicking around with it i thought to drill a hole in it to tighten it... is this the correct way to do it, if not heres how i did it for everyone.






edit: now isnt this gonna rust like crazy? what should i do about it

spray paint on it that prevents rust

it has happened to me before but with patient i was able to get it back on without drilling/enlarging the hole. . . . . just as a note, mine happened b/c of taking the front lower tie bar on and off several times to work on the car, the spot welds broke. now i just used the factory lower tie bar.
