I've tried the doors and they don't seem to work

 

how long have you had the car? have the door cylinders been switched? is the key in good shape is is worn out?

 

Sometimes the locks in the doors especially can get worn and rusty.. whatever you do, don't keep trying it.. you could be stranded someplace with half a key. Graphite powder works good for lubricating locks, it comes in little tubes put some in there and gently move the key back and forth.

 

i had the car for bout a month now and the ingnition looks like you can stick any key in there and turn it but it only works with mine and same goes for the trunk

 

ok but i really want to lock my doors at night... a couple nights ago my stereo was stolen but now i have my car in the garage
