Default resistor box

So i've searched around here, hondaswap, and ef-honda, and i cant seem to find any info on this..

in a week i'll be starting a b18b1 swap into my hatch. im trying to make sure i have everything i need and get everything in order before i go disconnecting ****.

While i was reading a post that brought up resistor boxs it made me realize i'm not really sure what i need to do with mine. as far as i know the box is needed because the original engine is obd0 and has p/h injectors, and i believe it is unnecessary for the obd1 motor because those injectors are saturated. That being said what do i do with the box? Can i just unplug it and remove it? do i have to do something with the remaining harness. i read somewhere that i need to connect some wires together, or something of that nature. i'm really not sure, but so far as i can tell this is a fairly important thing which i need to address lol.

not all obd1 inj are saturated if you stay obd0 you need that box but if you convert obd1 and keep oem obd0 inj you need the box when you get saturated obd1 inj to eliminate box disconnect male plug from frb then cut wires and solder all 5 together thats it i have had the same issue i have a thread going on this and dont curse cause the man is going to get you for it for NOT READING THE RULES

thank you, that does answer my question sanimalp. i did look trust me. this is what comes up when i type in resistor box. none of what was listed in the findings matched what you posted up. why they didn't show up i dont know, but i did look. it makes sense that it should show up given the search parameters, but yea it sure didn't.

i selected recent content, and yet it didnt find anything that was posted recently

no worries man.. the search is a *little* touchy until you get the hang of it. The most overlooked search option is the archived posts radio button, which is the most useful feature because i think they consider archived content to be anything over like a week old around here..
