It could be a vaccum leak... one easy way to tell is to take a pair of visegrips and squeeze them together over the vaccum line and if your idle is better that is you problem you need to fix the gasket around the master cylinder.

do u have a diagram of how the vacume lines run because when i bought the care the guy had everything backwards so they may be ran wrong.

And are u talking about the (brake) master cylinder?

You can see the vise grips stopping the vaccum from the (brake) Master Cylinder to the intake manifold. Do exactly what this shows and see if it helps at all first start your car and let in idle even if it is bogging down then take the vice grips and clamp them as shown in the pictures

i would seem to say so... timing can cause that too but not that bad... and your iacv could be bad too... and or remove the iacv and you can take the back cover off of that and there will be a white/ cream colored what i call a condom thing its plastic and you might need to just like screw that in tight as you can get it be careful... i used 2 screw drivers and got someone to help me screw it in more just dont break it... or you will be like this guy to find another one... this piece is under your throttle body and the cooling hoses hook too it..
