Im going to be making a roll cage for my car in the near future. i wanted to see if i could get some detailed pics of NHRA certified cages. floor plates, rear bars, door bars Front down tubes.

perty much anything that is critical to inspectors.

also look at the chassie builders sites

 

i have done both of the above. i know the rules, ive seen the sites. i want to see how some of the guys here are running their cages.

 

look up nrgtech they do great cage work, and they have made many threads showing the cages...

 

the d bars technically arent legal, but thats the way the guy that cert'd my cage said to put them in, this was argued 2.5 years ago.

whats wrong with the door bars ??

 

not the door bars, the diagonal bars. they are now supposed to go to a cross bar that goes to the rocker sills. not plates, but my guy that cert'd the cage, requested us to do it the way we did it.

don't know of a forum,,but look at what is out there to buy from other builders
