Default tires

On my wife's 91 Civic sedan the inside of the front tires are wearing out at a fast rate. the right front is much worse than the left. Also there is a terrible shaking when braking at high speeds of 55 or more. Is the shaking caused by the worn tire? Will an alignment fix the tire wearing problem? Or is there something else that might cause both problems?
Any info or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, Rick

warped rotors will shake the wheel under high speed braking, but it sounds like you also need tires.....good luck...

Resurface your current rotors, or get new ones.

Go to a shop and get your alignment checked. Camber and/or toe can cause uneven tire wear.
