Default question about tein springs

so i did some searching last night and i couldnt find exactly what i was looking for. im about to order some Tein s tech springs for my EM1 and i was thinking that in my pot hole infested city that a 1.9'' drop in the front might be bad. so my question is to anyone who's got streets full of pot holes where they live, has anyone ever had a problem with them? i know you have to watch out and try to avoid them, but what about the ones you cant avoid. am i going to be looking at screwing up my front bumper? thats basically my only concern about lowering my car.

I have S-Techs, but the roads here are generally in good condition. There are a few places that are difficult to get the car in or out of or that I avoid altogether, but that's only since I've put a really big front lip on. Before the lip I could go anywhere without any problems.
