I'd have to say that the REAL JDM headlights actually have less output. Mine suck. I dont know about the black housing knock offs tho.

Mine have very good light output. More misinformation being spread on H-T.

Yeah, the REAL JDM Stanley lights are the same if not a bit better than USDM depending on the bulbs you have in there.

EBay knockoff 'JDM' lights are most likely worse, but I have never used them.

just paint your housings black, you will get about the same amount of output and you wont spend more then 5 dollars way better deal imo

The thing about the eBay ones is that they don't have the 3 lines going across the lens so it looks weird.

The light output is different from stock US headlights, since the reflector is shaped different and the cutoff angles to the left instead of the right. You get more light to your left, and less light up high to your right, aka the side of the road. I havent noticed much difference in the actual light output, but as mentioned, it all depends on the bulbs you are using. Also the height of your car can make a difference in how far your light projects when aimed properly. If you want the ultimate in both jdm looks and bright lighing, get a set of jdm lights, and have a tsx(or comparable) hid retrofit done!

I'd have to say my JDMs put out more or the same light than stock US headlights. But a friend of mine has the replicas with the amber corner and they do look nice...I dunno how the light output is but they looked really clean with the amber bumper lights too.

I've been using the eBay knockoffs for a while now and light output is just the same as stock. No moisture issues or clouding thus far. As for bulbs, you can use your stock bulbs in the knockoffs, but the true JDM's use H4's

Yes they actually do look very good. I have not seen a good pic of them on a car until now. I have to say if I did not already have Stanleys, I might consider getting these.

True JDM's have 3 lines going across them vertically.
From what I heard, some of the ebay knock offs have bad fitment.

What I noticed was that my JDM H4 bulbs had more out put then my USDM stock bulbs.

That might be because they were old or something though...

The lines are horizontal.

The knock offs look good. To anyone who doesn't know 4th gen Preludes, they couldn't tell the difference unless you told them.
Personally, I liked my H4 and H1 lights from my JDMs than what was USDMs.

Reason is because H4s produce more Lumens. They are one of the best bulbs on the market where 9006 series pretty sucky.
