Default Boosted car not starting Map Sensor

K just wondering if the MAP with prevent a car form starting. I have a 99 gsr turboed. The wires r good, fuel pump works, injectors are getting power, the dizzy is new. The car will turn over but will not fire and the iac will start buzzing. I am using a piggyback computer but im thinkin if that were toast the car would still start but run rich. So im left with not enough fuel pressure of map im thinkin.

No. It will prevent it from idle-ing. Is it throwing a code? Sounds like you have the plugs mixed- I think they are the same (3-pin round)

your MAP sensor will have these 3 colors:

Yellow/Green [or Yellow/Red]
Black/White
White

This way you can know which is which.

Just had that same problem. I tried everything and it turned out to be the coil. I know you said you have a new dizzy but i was under the impression i did too. Just a thought...

Yes. the map sensor can make it not start. A buddy of mine had the motorola 2.5bar and somehow one of the legs broke off flush to the sensor. It would not start at all. He disconnected the 2.5bar and hooked up the stock map that was still on the tb and luckily I had a chip with from my previous tune with the same size injectors on the stock map. It fired right up and was able to cruise it home.
