Default replace front disc brake, please help...

i got my 91 civic sedan on jacks right now, was going to replace my front disc co'z the passenger side makes a scratchy sound, i believe its warped... but anyways, i have some cross drilled discs to put on but i just can't seem to get my calipers off... the two bolts are sooooo frekin hard to take off.... so far i tried a 1/4" impact wrench, didn't work, then used a 1/2" impact, still doesn't work... i'm pretty sure counter clock wise is to loosen and clockwise to tighten as on a standard bolt... by the way, i spray wd40 on like crazy already... so please help me, what am i missing... how do get them off.... thanks for ant insight...

thanks for the info, i actualy just got them loosened up just now, had some dinner and said, fudge it! took my 1/2" 2foot breaker bar and muscled my way thru it... i was worried that i might snap the head off, but i thought that would be a good excuse for a DA upgrade or something...
