scammer alert!!
I hate to call out people like this, especially ones who have been on here for a long time. However, I am not going to lose out on $42 that I sent vial paypal to 94rs-turbo aka chase vaughn.
I sent him $42 for oem optional weatherstipping for the oem kit bnib full set. I sent the funds April 17 and have not recieved anything yet. 94rs-turbo kept sending me an invalid tracking number which is a clear sign he sent nothing. I did file a complaint through paypal and investigation was done.
This is part of what paypal sent me (due to secuirty reasons im not posting everything):
"After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the BuyerComplaint described below."
"We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any fundsfrom the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recoveryof funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed"
Even though i win the dispute i still cant get my money?? wtf?? So now this is why im posting this!
REFUND MY MONEY!!

yeah paypal really sucks when it comes to getting money back, i think they should hold the funds in the person account until a shipping or tracking code is cleared from the shipping co. or something

would be nice to hear 94rs side of the story. lets see that USPS slip. if USPS lost the parts, thats not the buyers fault and he should be refunded. and hopefully you had insurance on the item and can make a claim.

Ahhh yes... gotta love USPS. Been down this road before.
Hope this is resolved in more of timely manner than my situation was. Just remember......communication does wonders through times like this.
The seller is should take full responsibility in seeing that either the buyer gets his/her money back or the parts purchased.

This isn't really the buyer or sellers fault. Sorry, but I don't see why the buyer should be refunded is the seller did everything he was supposed to. It unfortunate and sucks for everyone. Just file a claim with the USPS

I've done business with Chase before, everything went very smoothly... I don't think he'd scam you for $42 man, sounds like a shipping issue, not a seller issue.
However, it does suck though.

its both your faults, due to not thinking ahead of the possibility of a small package getting lost in the millions that the post office ships daily.
i as a seller always tell my buyers my price reflects added insurance. dont like it i dont sell it to them end of story.
as a buyer i always get it insured. end of story.
im protected as a seller and im protected as a buyer.
appears the seller didnt force the price to include insurance. buyer appears didnt request it be insured.
fault goes to both for not thinking ahead...especially for a small item (its probably stuck inbetween the belts somewhere)
94rs-turbo is not a scammer by all means.
(putting the flame suit right now)

Yeah ups sucks, I don't mail anything if its not insured. But 94rs-turbo is not a scammer I purchased some wheels from him. So ill vouch for him also, he's a good guy in my book
ok so it looks like the seller shipped something out, but I dont see any shipping address info so that doesnt really prove you shipped him anything. not saying you didnt, just saying that wouldnt hold up in court as proof.
secondly, the tracking number comes up differently with and without a "-" between the numbers:
Label/Receipt Number: 483305-9550
There is no record of this item.
or
Label/Receipt Number: 4833 0595 50
Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site.
doesnt look like its an invalid tracking number based on the second information but it doesnt give you any details. would probably need to contact USPS for more info.
I still feel its the sellers responsibility to figure out whats going on with the package since no information is given based on that tracking number. If nothing can be determined, or the tracking number doesnt report the package as delivered, I think the seller should still refund. If the tracking number reports its been delivered, and buyer says he never got it, the buyer is SOL.
Ive only had one problem with USPS before. The tracking number for the part I ordered reported that it was delivered, but I never received it. Im thinkin someone jacked it from my front steps or mailbox or wherever the mail person put the package. And because I had ordered numerous items that week, the mail person couldnt recall where/when/etc she put the package.

Bingo. I also force insurance on anything I sell. I used to make it clearly optional but a guy got pissed and wanted a 100% refund when he told me not to insure it. I split it with him (close to $200 loss on my side for that one) but I refused to give him all of it since it was very clear that he didn't want insurance. Since then though, I decided it wasn't worth the hassle to ship anything without insurance.

er'yup.....
After having been through a similar situation while merely trying to help out a friend, i now always purchase the insurance.
There is something to be said about the communication between buyer and seller however though. Good communication allows both parties to feel safe through the entire process. When the seller in particualar cannot be contacted and the buyer is left in the dark or not provided updates, the seller is creating doubt in the buyer's mind.
No matter who is shipping the items, good communication is extremely appreciated especially by the party who is purchasing.
