You can lie to yourself, but to Super Street Bike Magazine?
In the June 2008 issue of Super Street Bike Magazine, they did a feature on my old bike, that I sold last December. Here is what it said.
Name: John Casson
"I own a 2007 CBR600RR and could not be happier, having already logged just over 10,000 miles since last May. I use this bike for everything-pleasure, commuting, and touring.
I would say that my favorite upgrade was the Power Commander with the custom map. It was a day and night change from the OEM power level which was already amazing for a 600cc. My bike dynoed 116hp to the rear wheel at the local dealership.
The bike was blue/silver when I purchased it new but I was really looking for the white/silver '07. The first thing that I did was buy all new OEM white/silver plastics which ran me about $3000. Then I went with the Two Brother's M2 V.A.L.E. slip-on and Power Commander. Last summer I added all the carbon fiber and tidbits. When I packed it up for winter I already had about $4500 wrapped up in upgrades-money well spent!
For this riding season,I am going to have a Dynojet ignition module and quick shifter installed, which are both plug and play with the Power Commander."
Year:2007
Age:23
Miles Done: 10,000
Mods: Power Commander III, Two Brothers Exhaust, BMC air filter, Puig windscreen, Gilles rearsets, OEM seat cowl, Pazzo levers, Xenon HID kit, Clear Alternatives integrated taillight, Lockhart Phillips flushmount signals, Goodridge brake lines, Carbon Works rear hugger, exhaust cover, heel guards, chain guard, HRC carbon fiber tail and tank"
Best Upgrade: Power Commander with custom map
Favorite Aspect of Bike: Light weight and agility
Riding Style: N/A

I wouldn't of said anything, but taking credit for someone else's hard work is complete bullshit. I purchased the bike when it was blue/silver, new, at Full Throttle Motorsports in Council Bluffs, IA.
The reason it did the Michael Jackson quick color change, was because an unfortunate accident where there was mud in the road around a corner, on Hwy L34 in Iowa. Then I proceeded to rebuild the bike TOP TO BOTTOM. All new OEM and aftermarket parts. Essentially, the entire current mod list. All the carbon, all the new pearl white plastics, etc.
Pretty sure the map I had on it made 119 at the rear wheel haha.
Sorry bro, but you just [freak]ed up.
Scanned article up soon. I don't want to ruin this with a crappy cell picture.
Last photoshoot, shot by Daishi himself. One of the pictures was used in the magazine.

I'm guessing you sold the bike to some tool, and he took credit for all the work you did?
Who cares,it's a honda.
Though, it is sexy.

Sucks bro...
Wasn't there a "rebuild" thread on your bike or something? Anyway, nice looking bike. It's not surprising when someone buys your work and claims they did it..

Ain't chu know nuffin? Fenders are extra weight, son!
Actually, I think that picture was taken during the (re)build and the fender had not arrived yet. IIRC.

At least the Loser has a little more accurate dyno figures......116whp is a little more believable compared to 119whp!

You should e-mail the guy who bought your bike and tell him you saw it in a magazine and just wanted to congratulate him on all his hard work.
