yea i was driving home and i had to make a sudden stop and i was going about 35 i stepped on the brake not even that hard and my front wheels locked up and it wasent like i jammed on the brakes could ther be something wrong or just a fluke and i dont kno if this matters i just had the struts done a couple weeks ago

 

So you are saying the ABS on your 79 Accord isn't working?

If the caliper slider pins are sticking a little it makes the pads ride right on the rotors, but as long as the front aren't grabbing hard all the time there should be no worries.
Often times adjusting up rear shoes will help even out the brakes
