I agree that would bring more crowds to see the competition...This is a good step we are taking to bring the sport back to life!!!

 

i dont understand why that would bring more spectators. since when is watching slow cars entertaining?

Sounds like fun...I think the sanction bodies should do this as well... class of 10 sec 11 sec 12 sec and 13 sec cars

Obviously you don't think outside the box. No hard feelings, but when everyone started watching racing when we all had no race cars we went to see everyone else race and when we started we started slowly. You never walk before you get past crawling... It would bring more crowds and friends to come support their friends.

From what they said at the track when they thought it up was no lexan or cut doors. Street car appearance needed to be maintained

This sounds like a blast, the 10.0 cut should fit my P/S car perfict! Doubt I'll

i would say the majority of the street cars around this area, either most run 10's or high nines, their trying to make the playing field fair for street cars from all over

10.0 index is due to keeping it more budget friendly. And it makes it easier for them because they dont have to check for licenses, chassis certs, etc. All which usually adds to the fund of building a car. Good idea if you ask me.

technically yes but no. Thats why they made the class the way it is. Even then a bunch of people will still have trouble meeting the very few rules there are.
