Hey guys,
so i recently sold my EJ6 and found a EK hatch with a stock 96 LS motor and tranny in it. I plan on going the FI route with goals of 300 hp, but i really dont know where to start as i have no experience with dohc boosting, just boosting d series wealkings -_-. on a budget of ~3000, what kind of setup could i run?
i've heard something along the lines of a t3/t4 with a ported polished head, with new cams, rockers, retainers, etc? i assume a clutch a pressure plate upgrade is in store also for this car if i go this route.
Help before i do something bad XD. that 3000 doesnt include dynotuning etc. sus.
all help would be greatly appreciated, a starting point from where to go from would rock.

tell me your thoughts guys
t3/t04 turbo or a super 60
blox ebay manifold, or possibly something superior lol
tial wastegate
boost and associative gauges
greddy bov
golden eagle vacuum idler
550cc dsm injectors with resistor box
the rest is SSautochrome parts
tuned on a p28 with crome/s200 hondata
alcohol injection
walbro 255
some boost controller
arp headstuds
stock LS motor with a stage 4 clutch upgrade on the LS trans

Pretty generic setup so there isn't much you could do wrong. Look in the market place for good deals on stuff. As far as the manifold/downpipe go, you can find those used for very affordable prices used, which is going to be better for you then the ebay bs.
Keep in my mind that most people get that itch for more power, so don't cut yourself short and then have to re-purchase all new parts when you get tired of 300whp.
Compression and leakdown test that motor before you mess with it at all though!
