justin humphreys update....
Well there is no way Maskin just pulled out of race motors all together. There would have been many teams that were left stranded.
That leads me to believe there was something behind the scenes that we will probably never know about , going on between maskin and the team owners.
Thats just speculation and an opinion
Did Bob Glidden leave as crew chief? I remember watching a race and the comentators stated that rumor was that it was going to be Glidden's last race as crew chief. They asked and neither Justin nor Glidden confirmed or denied it. I haven't been able to see a race since then or find out if he did leave.

Hey everyone. Yes, Maskins called us last week and said that he wanted to take a break from racing for a while, and he wanted his engines back. No problem, we loaded everything up in our little trailer, and my crew guy Beaver was going to drive it all up to him. Then that night he called and tried to hire Beaver, and slipped up and said he was going to team up with Jim Yates again. So we were left without engines. This had nothing at all to do with Bob Glidden, we are still very very good friends, and I am actually stopping at his house in Indy today to hang out with him after we pick up our new car at Schumachers shop. We will be back out this weekend in Topeka in a Dodge Stratus thanks to Don Schumacher, and with engines from my good friend Allen Johnson. They really came forward and kept up from missing any races. This deal came together about 11pm last night, and we were on the road at 2am. Hopefully we can go and put on a good showing. Thanks as always for all of the support from you guys. We really appreciate it. Good luck to everyone this year.

Wow it's been a crazy couple weeks for you. It's good that RaceRedi has bounced back w/ a new car and new motor program!! I've always admired the whole RaceRedi crew-even that big ***, well trained pitbull of yours!!
to RaceRedi Motorsports. Any pics of the new Stratus?? We'll probably just have to wait and see it at the track. Good luck-we'll be rooting for you!!
Oh and I wasn't saying anything about this having to do w/ Bob Glidden I was just wondering if he was still your crew chief?

Thanks everyone. It means alot. Well, I haven't even seen the car yet. Picking it up in about 20 mins. I think it is the Blue/Black camo deal, but its all good. Hopefully I can get Bob back out there soon. Going to eat with him later today.
Right now we are doing it on our own as we have since Vegas. But our good friend Frank Gugliotta that races IHRA Prostock has been coming with us, and he is unbelievable. Big thanks to all of you guys. Our best racing memories are still with all of you guys. I would like to bring the lexus back out and try to make a Sport Compact race, but with our schedule it is hard to find a race cloesby we can make it too.

They say Pro Stock is the hardest class to be in and is the most cut throat!! Don't change b/c of the class. Make the class change b/c of you!! You can't look, take pics, videos or nothing of those Pro Stock cars b/c it's soo close and competitive!!
Give em hell!! Good luck w/ the new programs!!

So the engines and stuff were never leased from the Maskin guy? I know alot of teams lease engines or whatever. Were they just loaned to you? Sucks that your engine supplier just calls up and requests his engines back.
Good thing someone else stepped up and you were able to get stuff from them
