Default fan wont kick in zc

over heated in the drive thru at wendys, stayed cool all the way home on the road however so i would assume my fan isnt kickin in like it should.....also i couldnt hear it running when i noticed it was hot and it wasnt on when i pulled off to the side of the parking lot.

should i say [freak] it and put in a manual switch?
an how would i go about troule shooting this to figure out if its the fan istelf or the switch that makes it kick in.

Check your cooling fan relay... See if its burnt out... check to see if voltage is present in the circuit...

unclip the plug for the sensor and jump it with a paperclip to see if the fan turns on. if not, just replace the fan sensor...it's located after the thermostat...right on the housing...

+1

These seem to die a lot. Luckily they're incredibly easy to replace, just unhook one little black box and plug another one in
