Default Urgent Help! (Fuel rail related) EK vti

Hey guys.

Well after receiving my OBX fuel rail I came to fit it. Like a noob I never had a 22mm spanner to tighten the banjo up and used a pair of mould grips. Anyhow, I ended up snapping the stud that goes into the fuel feed on the rail.

I cannot find a replacement stud ANYWHERE, so have came to the conclusion I may be able to use a banjo bolt instead.

Few questions I need answers to...

WTF is this (some sort of restrictor?) and can I get rid of it? :

This is the stud I snapped:

And this is the rail I have:

Can I just simply f*** that thing off that is circled above and use a banjo bolt instead?

Does Anyone know what size banjo bolt I would need to fit an OBX fuel rail? (the thread on the stud is 1/2", but I need to know the height of the banjo??

Cheers guys!

shouldn't you use the banjo bolt anyways? Your are using your stock fuel line right? Well the one you broke doesn't even have a hole for fuel to go in.
