wondering d15/d16 head

Default wondering d15/d16 head

i was wandering if a d16 vtec head would fit in my stock 93 d15b8 motor? just tryin to duke it up alittle bit.....PLEASE HELP!!!

is your b8 an 8 valve or a 16 valve?
pistons in the 8 valve don't have enough valve reliefs for 16 valve heads.
lots of mini me 'write ups' on ht

Some/MOst D15B8's got D15B7 pistons, 16v style. The changeover was in mid 1993 production.

Only way you'll know is to pull the head off and see what pistons you have.
