whats up yall. alright i have a b16 tranny with lsd. i have a ACT 6 puck clutch stage 3. my problem is that when i take off in first sometimes i get this loud squealing sound. now i know its not the throw out bearing because its already been changed. the noise only happens when am letting off the clutch especially in first. it sounds like im doin a burnout. so what do yall think?

I noticed tonight when riding in the car, when he lets off the clutch real easy that it doesn't make the noise but when he lets off the clutch like any other person would from a stop light that it makes the noise (I'm not trying to say he launches his car because thats not the case)

 

kinda takin a shot out in the dark here, but it sounds like maybe the flywheel is rubbing on the clutch or pressure plate.

 

you know i never thought about that. ill look into that one. thanks alot. but does anyone have any other ideas of what this could be?

 

well you know a high performance clutch will squeal my clutch does the same sometimes

 

yeah hopefully thats it cause this noise is annoying lol. but ima keep tryin to find out what it is. if anyone has other experiences or ideas please feel free to share.

 

its not that annoying i kinda like the sound lol
