aem bypass valve

does this thing really work 100% of the time, or is it just a waste of money??

test have proven they work,, but u cant always be too safe,, i had one and it broke after a couple of years,, but it always worked for me,, my motor has 150k on it still runs good

Mine seems like it works. I try not to submerge the filter at all.

They work, but they're still a waste of money.

If you're worried about hydrolocking your engine, buy a short ram.

I had an AEM Cold Air Intake with just a water-proof-ish cover that came with the kit.. Ran that for 1 year and a half in rainy Washington state and no problems.. I just avoided huge puddles -- but I've driven on the freeway in driving rain and no problems.

Same here; I've had mine for 2 years with no problems. I just drove my car in a downpour tonight, and I was more afraid of hydroplaning than hydrolocking.

anyone know where i can buy spalshgaurd for a 2000 civic si?
