So I got into a front end collision and I couldn't find an OEM Black hood anywhere. I bought this teal hood for $20 temporarily but it has grown on me and I actually like the way it looks.
What do you think??

 

I think you should get it painted black, but if you like it teal, start a new trend in your town.

I think your hood needs paint before your car is totally fixed.

dont take that the wrong way man, im not trying to be a dick. but seriously, why dont you just take it to a bodyshop and have them spray the hood real quick?

eh, thats how people around my town are. They try to copy the CF hood, but they dont know its cf and think its a black hood. So everywhere u look, u see faded and painted black hoods on cars that try to "look like CF" Lol.

because a body shop will charge too much. I don't have the money right now. I would much rather get a carbon fiber hood but the issue is my budget . I smoked a Benz and left him a few scratches on the bumper....cost me $1700 to pay him for the repairs (rather not go through insurance).

I was planning on painting it myself, just looking for the time.

 

Do what you want. Most people will only approve if it's expensive or atleast looks expensive, unless its cheap but has a function that in most cases wont be used for function but more toards looks.
