what are good short shifter and bushings?
i recently got my integra and wat smoother and shorter shifts. i like the sound of dual bend shifters and was looking at the skunk2, any other suggestions? i was also planning on switching the bushings but i have no idea wat are good ones...suggestions anyone?
Just to warn you if you like to shift hard, over time you could were the syncros in your tranny. If you still want to get a short shifter, I heard from multiple posts that aluminum shifters are NOT the way to go. ur guess as good as mine on the bushings...
Energy suspension makes a shifter bushing kit.
Whats the difference between shifting hard with a short shifter and shifting hard with a stock shifter?

I've heard that with a short shifter, shifting hard doesnt give the syncros enough time to align with the gears, and over time wear them down.
I repeat, I've heard of this, doesn't mean its necessarily true.
Im sure if one would drive normally a short shifter would be perfectly fine.

I love the stock shifter. Had SS, but took it out in favor of the stock unit. Get the Energy Suspension bushing kit, like mentioned above and you will feel how much more crisp and solid it feels.
