Default anyone have a tow hook on their 5th gen?

i kinda like the look of it on SOME cars and i want to see what it would look like on a prelude

anyone have any pics??

its a benen tow hook. i had to get an extension piece made to make it fit over the oem lip

ive seen it on quite a few of the mugen fitted ludes if you want to search for them to see it especially the front hook

Here's my front tow hook, but this is on a race car, so it's not as pretty as a show car.

And is it functional? can you actually be towed by it?

both tow hooks are NOT functional. i did it for looks and i think theyre cool.

if it needs to be towed, then id call for a flat bed.

i know the original hooks are underneath the front and rear but this is just for looks only.

i have a detachable steering wheel that i carry with me everywhere. also a hub lock so if a thief wanted it, they have to bring their own steering wheel or get a flat bed and push it on there.

yeah but even if its functional a good alarm is deterrent enough

and if its not functional, then the thieves get away with a towhook thats bent to hell when they tear it off the car lol

Clint (NirVtec) has one on his 4th gen but he uses it to tow his track trailer. I don't see why you would want a tow hitch on a Prelude just for "looks"
