ok i just swapped a b16 on a ef sedan and everything using the stock harness of the old motor and did the dpfi to mpfi convertion and the distributor plug from the d series and b series is different. do i need to cut my d series dizzy plug and put a b series connector plug on the stock harness?


any ideas of what i can do?

thats weird cause my hf already had mpfi but it pluged right into my b series dizzy i have a si harness if you want you might have to change the fuel resistor plug

i dont have a si harness i did the convertion to mpfi i used my stock harness so its different..... i dont believe this has to do anything with the fuel resistor plug

 

i known that but when i first got a ef it was a si with a b16a and a drunk diver reallly ended me so i bought a hf withal blown engine the si harness would not fit due to the diffrent fuel resistor plug on the hf so i had to use the hf harness i am surprised that the dizzy does not plug in htough unless u have a diffrent plug on harness or not the right dizzy what kind of dizzy is it is there any numbers on it mine is a td44 due to becAuse i converted to obd1

 

everything is obd0 so im sure its the right dizzy. i wired up my own resitor box cuz i did the convertion to mpfi so that has nothing to do with it./

 

what color are the plug instead on the dizzy itself

 

they are clear/yellowish trust me its obd0.. no they are not grey lol

you should be able to re pin it just be sure not to switch the position of the two all white wires but there is going to be one plug difference in the two wire connector the spades are a little bigger so you may have to trim them to get it to work but its really simeple to do boomslang has diagrams on there website even if that woud help

so i fixed the wiring and did the convertion and everything but now my car doesnt wanna turn on. it cranks but other than that does nothing

i sprayed that starter fluid and it turn it on for 10secs then it went back off again.. any idea guys? im gettting ready to give up
