Default Maintenance Required Light

Ive got an ap2 s2k and love it. Its showing a maintenance required light (no cel) and im wondering how I can get ride of it. I assume it came on at a certain mileage for an oil change? any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

1) key in off position
2) press and hold "trip" button for 20 or more seconds
3) turn ignition to on position until light turns off

Unless its an '07 (with the smart system) you just press both the trip and mph/kmh buttons at the same time and turn on the key and after 20 secs it will go off

My advice:

1. Read your owner's manual
2. If you don't have an owner's manual, buy one.

It is suppose to tell you the oil life left depending on your driving style(ie. slow not alot of high rpms oil life is longer, in Vtec alot % goes down faster) And it tells when to change all fluids, oil trans diff coolant. It's on all Hondas after 07 and some before, It helps alot of ppl who don't tend to their cars quite the same as S2K owners :D
