Default Which Spark Plugs: NGK BKR7EIX-11 or BKR6EIX-11

Got a question. I've finished building my LS/VTEC and came across something interesting about spark plugs.

I am using a 2001 ITR Head with a B18a1 Block with OS P30's so about 11.5-12.0:1 Compression.

I am searching NGK's site for 2001 Integra Type R spark plugs and they have the Iridiums listed : BKR7EIX-11. But then I search 2000 Integra Type R & GS-R and they both came up BKR6EIX-11.

I know the difference between the 6 and 7 is heat range, but I don't know which one is colder or hotter.

Which one would be better for my setup? I am thinking to just use the BKR7EIX-11 from the 01 ITR since the ITR motors are higher compression.

I just read on NGK's site that the higher the number, the colder the plug.
