LOOKING TO UPGRADE MY MOTOR
i was thinking of putting a gsr head on my stock b16a2 block with stage 2 racing cams, would it fit? then boosting it. or should it be left a stock si head then turbo.
And how well do ebay turbo kits work only boosting 7lbs daily and 9lbs at the track

Why in the world would you put a GSR head on your B16 block when you have a good B16 head? I remember seeing a post on this forum that explained that the B16 head flowed better or the same as the GSR head. It would be a waste of time and money. Don't buy an ebay kit, they are junk, no matter what PSI you want to run.
Oh God, where to start on this one...
First of all, the B16 as is, is fine for a boosted application. If anything, swap a set of GSR or ITR cams into the B16 head. As for the "stage 2 racing cams" i would research more before just throwing in some random cams.
Finally, the worst part of the whole post...Ebay parts. Hmm...

I'm going to say this in the nicest way possible. Those parts are absolute **** made in China by 7 year old kids in a sweatshop. They're sub-par at best. If you want to use them, go for it. Soon enough there will be swarms of people claiming how "great" the kits really are, but trust me, they're garbage. The manifolds crack, the turbos spew oil and the wastegates are known to creep like crazy. If you're going to boost, do it the right way and buy quality parts the first time. It'll save you a lot of headaches.
Lastly, dont base your goals in terms of PSI. Once you learn more about turbo setups, you'll realize why i say this. PSI doesn't dictate anything. Each turbo and each setup is different. They make different power at a different psi. Rather, base your goals in terms of whp. That's the only reliable measure. For your stock B16, shoot for ~300whp to be on the safe side. People have made quite a bit more, but for your first setup, live with that power and enjoy it.
Next time, post in the Forced Induction forum because the Civic forum isn't really known for its vast wealth of accurate knowledge about turbo setups

thanx for the advice just starting to piece this car together and dont want to ruin the motor already had to buy a new trans old one was ****, ive heard various things about swapping heads to increase top end power. so far the gsr trans on a b16 motor works very well. any really good places to buy a good turbo kit when pockets are a little light,
If you dont have a lot of money at the moment, the best turbo setup for you is a future turbo setup. I wouldnt ever jump into something like that with a dwindling budget....you're just asking for problems. Often times, people see the cost of a turbo setup as a fixed cost, but its really not. If you can build a complete setup for $3000, you should budget 25-40% more for random things you didnt account for. If you dont have a solid $4k in the bank and want something reliable, you're going to have to be patient and save up.
You could always build a ghetto setup...visit http://www.homemadeturbo.com if you want some ideas
