Well, no I guess you can't refer to a "scooter" as a babe magnet, but whatever haha.
Here is my current project. I received this elite 150 from my uncle for free some years ago and it ran good. Later on my friend laid it over and broke his ankle in the process. Since then it went down hill and I beat the **** out of it taking it on trails and what not. But it's been getting warm, and I miss my gsxr so I need something to ride until I hit up Argo and pick up a salvage sv650.

I cant find any before pictures of it, but here is where it sits at the moment...pretty bare.

New tires are being ordered. The [pejorative] rack on the back is getting removed. The rims are going to be painted black (i think...so far). Everything else will be black on it, and the other plastics will be painted to match. The rear panels were trashed, and have been modified as to allow them to be "mostly" removed. I think this way makes it look a little less "scooterish". If that is possible.

And here is the paint. I have 2 younger brothers, and my mom and stepdad will be riding this thing too. So it had to look somewhat "cool" I did not feel like wasting good paint on a normal solid color, or I would have rattle can painted it. I only painted the front plastic thus far because I was unsure how it would look. I do not have a airbrush at the moment, but I think If I stick with this I will shadow in with the airbrush for the 3d effect...or just pinstripe it.
Opinions? Yay or nay?



It's hard to take a picture of this. The orange is a Mazda orange that I tinted different and added different pearl to. The black is a custom color with bronze, gold, orange pearl in it. It looks black copper in sunlight, I couldn't get the camera to show it. And i am not sure why the clear looks hazy in these pictures. It is not.

Go watch "Legend of Billy Jean" and you will see a cherry one. Actually this one looks like the short lived later model tho..

Its not rattle canned. Its painted with Dupont Chromabase system.

This is not my picture. I got it off of google, but this is basically what It looked like stock. Same color and all.

hahahah looks like it's over before it started... and that paint job looks like my fat neighbors toe nail.. A+ for effort though...
