Default suspension guuru's chime in, need help with type r 4x114 and spoon coilovers

ok., ive been searching but cant get an "exact" asnwer. I bought 4x114 suspensiion that came with spoon n1 coils. now ive heard that rears will fit without mod, but, i wanna put AFTERMARKET LCA'S. ive also heard that eg lcas will fit but heres my question, with the type r susp on, does this still apply, can i buy aftermarket lca's for either eg or ef and have it still fit with the susp and the coils(which is made for integra??) In a nutsell i wanna upgrade some suspension stuff, just dont know that when i buy stuff(sway bars, lcas, uca's etc), will they work with the ef chassis+4x114 susp)

Ok, so let me get this straight, you are installing the 4x114 suspension and are asking what after market LCAs will fit?

for what it's worth they arn't worth it really, but i'm pretty sure they should fit I've never done it with my own 2 hands so I won't say it will but part numbers for control arms *aftermarket* show up as 88-95 civic and 90-01 teg. So logically they will.

Do you have the 88 style rear shocks or the 89-91 style rear shocks?

go with accord wheels they're 4x114 but make sure the offset is at least 40mm(i think)
to make sure they fit

FTW!!!

random *** statement...

I can't say for sure that the coils will work, but I do know that the 4x114.3 front knuckles and rear trailing arms all bolted up. I just used my stock crx LCA's and they worked fine, so if EG LCA's work on EF chassis then I don't see why not...

Stick with EF chassis specific sway bars....
I bought and used EF aftermarket front adjustable UCA's with the 4x114.3 knuckles
