Default 97 rear or 98+ rear?

The reason im asking is, i have a 00' itr with 00 rear bumper..
but it's been scratched up and i've been just drivin' like that for 2 years
with my touch up paint from Acura..

Finally I want to do the paint job and i have a 97 integra bumper sitting in my garage. which one should i paint??

opinions of your style and some pictures of 97s if u have!

Definitely go with the '98-up for originality.

paint both and use either when you get bored...but the 97 IS a pretty bumber, despite the popularity of the 98+. it looks like a kit itself, molding into the shape of the rear end, very nice.

98 bumper

97 bumper is ghetto unless you have a 97 itr then its uber cool

plus mismatched stuff doesnt look right (98 front with 97 rear bumper, or 98 rear bumper with 97 front, lame)

Yes to the first thing ,

But maybe not on the 2 thing

I say this because do you guys remember that takata green ITR a while back , it was soooo sick looking , he put a jdm front with the 97 rear bumper , with the aztec lip kit , and it looked sooooo Fin fresh

But that is the only time i EVER liked mismatched year bumpers .

It wasn't Takata Green, and the Azect lip only works with 97 rear bumpers. The only reason that looked good was because it was a matching kit. Thats the only reason it looked good.
