I did a recall, got some free shiz
i have a 2000 s2k just checked up the recall list online and i get new tail lights for free from the dealer, new spark plugs installed, and new seatbelt retractors, just lettin u guys know. free tail lights!!! 
i guess they werent painted to us spec or someshit. they give u entire new fixtures.

yea... and the spark plugs could throw misfire codes. btw, how many miles do you have on your s2k when you had these done?

There listed on the Edmunds site amongst others. Pretty sure if it's a recall the dealer will replace it at anytime, because it is a safety or legal issue. TSB are another story...

Is that so, I find that very hard to believe? You sure you are not talking about the TSB? In that case there are 104 of them and I believe your car must me under warranty for them to repair it.

115k on my car, the top being replaced doesnt work anymore cuz they fixed that problem WITH the new retractors, so now they just replace the retractors and fixes that shiz

no it doesnt have to be under warranty cuz its safety, the tail lights because they old ones arent up to spec or something as far as the reflectivity goes with the paint they used. just call up the dealer, give them ur vin and they will tell u wut recalls u can get.

that doesnt count i guess, they said that its a service update when u get it serviced, the only time they would change it for free is if u get problems from the old spark plugs. so i got tail lights and retractors
