Engine's making noises.
Well, everytime I idle the car or shortly after I turn the car off, my engine bay makes noises. It sounds like there are whales mating in there.
I was told it was probably the AC and it's nothing to worry about, but it's kind of embarrasing when I get out of the car and the whales come out to play with each other.
It all started after I changed my oil around 58,000 miles. I've changed my oil twice since that time.
What is wrong???

It's probably the intake, you have a CAI right?...that's what mine does/did for about 2-3 seconds or so after you shut it down...makes a SHHHHHUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuukk sound. Not sure what you mean by a "whales mating" sound though - that would seem to be more like squeals and squawks...
No it's not the CAI. I took that out a few weeks ago because I took the whole car back to stop.
And it doesn't just happen for a few seconds after I shut it down. It happens for 20-30 minutes.

its probably a moose-rat stuck in your intake manifold
i've never heard of an engine making "whale mating noises" but id like to hear it, please post a sound clip
