i got a 97 crv and it has 126hp stock. not very much. give me some suggestions on getting more hp, for cheap? or not too expensive.

Cheap means how much to you? There are not many ways to make cheap power on a Honda, especially a heavy SUV with a 4-cylinder (and probably an auto transmission?).

The later B20Z has another 20 hp if you want to swap one of those in, but other than nitrous you're not going to get much cheap hp.

 

the 2.2 in the 1999 crv's? is that what youre talking about? if so thats what i was thinking.

It's not a 2.2, it's still a B20, which means it is a 2.0 liter. You might need to re-think about it.

 

Go here and check out the King Motorsports 97 CR-V, they made a ton of power
