2000 Civic DX Door panel cracked

2000 Civic DX Door panel cracked
It seems that this is a fairly common thing that happens. My driver side door panel is cracked/broken down by the pull handle....on that horizontal surface.
Is there any way to fix this? Has anyone had any experience fixing this with decent results? I'd be open to recovering the area on the 2 panels.
