All motor custom exhaust?
I have a B18C1 with a built p&p head, type-r cams, etc. Right now I have an RS*R ex-mag, but I'd like to do a custom exhaust. I will be upgraing pistons and cams after this season.
I have a hytech replica header and would like to do a custom 2.5" exhaust with a turn-down under the car. I don't want my car to sound like a rice-mobile though. Car is not a daily driver by any means.
Any recommendations?
I thought having a resonator after the header, then go into a magnaflow straight-through muffler, and then turn-down before the exhaust system makes the turn to the passenger-side.

Would going to a 3" exhaust be a better idea or make the exhaust note less 'ricey'?

Hytech makes a nice 2-1/2".
