noisy 4th gear under power
hi,
i just swapped an EK tranny into my stock dx D17Y. the new tranny shifts fine with no grinding, but under power the 4th gear has a loud whine, 5th gear is practically silent in comparison....any ideas what's wrong? the tranny has a warranty. thanks

I had a problem like that with my b16 trans and when I took it apart 3 teeth was missing off of the 4th gear. Not sayin that's ur problem but something to think about
