Is there any DIY on installing a new ac pulley and ac belt? This is the second time It happened to me in four years. The belt came off the ac pulley, and the pulley was loose in the engine. I took off the belt, but when I examined the ac pulley, it was cracked. The first time I was on vacation and I had to go to a Pep-Boys to get it repaired. So know I just want to do it myself. Seems simple, just a bolt that holds the pully. However, to get it there, I know I got to remove something, because its pretty tight inside. Any tips?

 

A/C idler pulley or A/C compressor pulley?

Its a 2000 GS Integra. Its the pulley that holds the AC belt. I been driving for 6 months without AC, and know need it.

 

there are 2 pulleys on the a\c belt, not counting the crank pulley. the one that adjusts the tension is the a/c idler pulley, which is the smaller of the 2. that one?

 

I need to take a picture of it.
