hey guys,

I'm trying to buy clears for my '97 accord, but I can't find any place that sells both the actual clear corners AND the bumper clears (which is what I was going for). I looked on ebay but that sorta confused me, any suggestions to sites where I can buy both at the same time?

 

I've never seen a package, why not just buy them separate?

 

Clear corners and bumper lights look horrible.

its not that bad but honestly i like somewhat of the stock look or jdm front end look.

 

yup clears are gay.

depends on the color of the car. all clear on a black car is boring. there's some colors where the amber turn signals just don't look right or match, so that's where clear is a good option.

depo headlights are never a bad choice either.

i was implying that this is a jdm look...its not that big of a deal.

I'm sure none of you realize there are in fact Stanley made clear corners? In addition to the clear bumper lenses........

While that maybe true, they look nothing like what was posted. I sure hope you weren't insinuating that I wasn't aware of factory jdm clear corners that are available. N00b I am not.

It's called misinformation. If someone reads you calling all amber, aftermarket corner "JDM", then that person would be mislead into thinking they are OEM JDM equipment, which they are not.

They're quite similar actually. And no I wasn't referring to you specifically as a nub, more so the band wagon of people that jumped on him for it.

And yes I realize that, the bandwagon comment was referring to the 2 butter cups that jumped in after you saying the same stuff.

But, the owner liked the way it looked so that's all that really matters.

Clears can be done tastefully though, case in point:

Not gaudy or overly atrocious just accents, and I think clears look good AS ACCENTS on a dark colored car.

I was implying that we've both been on this website for an extended period of time, and that we should have more mutual respect for each other. Neither of us are jackasses, so I see no reason for any "argument" as you said, as there is no need for one in the first place.

Hurley...What are the names of the headlights/corners that you posted in that picture? Your right they do look good.

As for my car, it is a forest green accord so maybe that can give you guys some idea of what kind of corners would be best.

 

^^The lights in the picture I posted are the JDM OEM Stanley blackhousings.

DEPO makes a replica, which is decent, for about half the price of an genuine stanley set.
