Default LS/VTEC, what INNER timing belt cover do I use?

What top inner timing belt cover do I use for an LS/VTEC?

I'm using an ITR inner timing belt cover and it doesn't line up with one spot on the B18a1 Block.

Am I supposed to be using a non-vtec inner timing belt cover? or should I just shave the plastic down in the spot.

i dunno what head u are using but im using a b16 head and i got a b16 back timing belt cover. I had to shave down a little on the rear cover so it sat flush with the block but thats about it. Im using the LS lower timing belt cover, now i just need the middle cover but i think im going to go with the b16 and give it a shot with that. I know the LS wont work since the mounting bolts dont line up with the b16 rear cover.

Just read ur post on how to install the timing belt on a lsvtec and getting the lines to line up. Gonna give it a try cause my timing is off by half a tooth

Ya I think I am just going to shave it down as well. Its only in one little spot where it doesn't sit flush.

As for the timing belt, it will go on with everything lined up. Just keep trying, and stay relaxed.
