Snapped Timing Belt on H23 VTEC , The Results Are In...
Aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnddddddddddddddddddddd survey says:
No bent valves!
I must admit I was a bit pessimistic about things, since I was cruising on the interstate and couldn't remember the RPM's I was sitting at (lowered VTEC xover could cause problems)....and tomorrow I have to leave Atlanta to go to Charlotte for five weeks. I just swapped in the new timing belt and she's back alive.
For the record, this is a USDM H22 piston'd, H23 rod, stock valvetrain H23 VTEC.

you lucky summa bitch. The noobs of the year would have a shattered piston. You realize this right?
and where the hell have you been?

Wow. Hows the piston to valve clearance on your build? Is it still an interference motor?? Thats just crazy. Did you not replace the t belt when building it? Or have you actually put 60K+ on the motor?
