I need to know to help find the leak. My motor is way too dirty/watery/oily to trace it, so I'm going to narrow down the possibilities with the dipstick. Don't ask how if you can't figure it out, it's just a process of elimination. d16z6 motor, stock everything.

 

bump, Im not looking for centimeters... Just a ballpoint. Does it go down past where the oilpan meets the bottom? or does it not even reach the oilpan, if so about how high up.

 

At least an inch to three, but does not touch the bottom. Sticks out fare enough to where you have to watch it when your putting the oil pan back on if you leave it in.
