Ok so im doing a mildish na built for my integra for now. I have a set of crower stage 2 cams and crower valve springs and retainers and throwing in some itr pistons. I was told that the retainers were wore out and needed to be replaced. Can i run the stock gsr retainers with these cams and valve spring? Im staying at the stock 8200 rev limit.

yes you can, i had skunk stage 2s with supertech spings and stock reatiners and as far as i know its still holding fine (2 years or so)

 

from what i gather its not a wise idea, i wanted to do this W/supertechs, but i was informed that the stock retainers are too thick and might risk retainer to guide seal contact.
