Default Would I fit in a Honda 06 Civic Si?

I'm hoping to purchase a new car this summer, but I'm curious to know if I would fit in a 06 Honda Civic Si. I'm 6'10 and about 230lbs. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

I've heard of people that are tall fitting comfortably into a 8th generation civic. None of which are as tall as you though. I don't think you'll be able to reach a definitive answer on something as subjective as this question. You're best chance is to find somebody who owns one, or go to your local dealership to test one out.

My opinion: You'll be able to fit into a mini cooper if you really tried. Would you be comfortable? Probably not. So physically, yes. Practically, no.

I'd like to go to my local dealership, but it's kind of embarrassing going just to see if I fit in the car lol...hmmm

I'm also going to look into seat track extenders, hopefully theirs such a thing.

Yeah the best thing to do is to just go and try it out. The good news is that the civic's wheel both tilts and telescopes.

Sometimes I wish I was that height...shoes, and clothes I'll let slide, but the possibility of not being able to buy the car I want because of my height is bs to me.

I'm 6'6", and I had to buy an LX coupe, because my head touched the roof in the sunroof cars, unless I laid the seat back and rolled total ghetto style. I know the Honda specs say the sunroof only takes up 0.2", but I call BS on that one. There is easily 1/2" less headroom, and I don't have much more than 1/2" to 3/4" the way it is. As far as leg room goes though, I don't think you'd have a problem. I good option for you might be to find a nice RSX Type S. They have more headroom and the one I drove was very comfortable.

Thanks for that info, good to know. I'm going to look into the RSX and see what I come up with.

I'm 6'5", 215lbs and fit extremely well. I have never sat in the coupe but I have lots of head and leg room in my 4dr SI. You can vertically lower the driver's seat and the telescopic steering wheel helps a lot.

@Floored, that gives me so much hope...I was thinking of getting the sedan since I got 2 brothers, but after seeing what you have to say, I might end up getting it.

@Chillout - That's hilarious

I'm 6'6", 200ish. I fit in my 2007 Si coupe comfortably. I have the seat lowered all the way and the back reclined some. My head is close to the ceiling, so I will have to slouch down in the seat a little when wearing my helmet. However, for daily driving I am fine.

Chiggin, when driving are your knees on the side of the steering wheel or under? I think my main concern would be leg room, more than headroom with my long legs.

Right now I'm driving an 07 Honda Element, and it's great but during long trips my legs are killing me. The headroom is great though.

I'm 6'3. I fit in very comfortably in my 4dr si.
But I think you should try it yourself.

My knees are usually under the steering wheel. If I set the cruise control on the highway, I can stretch my legs if I put my feet between and behind the pedals. I can't stretch them out all the way, but then again I haven't driven a vehicle yet in which I could.

I would highly recommend going to the dealership for a test drive. I fit just fine, but you are 4" taller.
