Stock 92 civic DX Auto. Better gas milage tips?
Original motor on it with 91k, Car is fully serviced all of the time by me. New plugs and filters etc.
What are some things I can do better to get better gas milage?....I usually get around 360-400 a tank driving normally, never speeding or flooring it.

Accelerate slightly down hills and use that given momentum to clime the next hill, if there is one. Also most cars achieve the best mpg between 45 and 65 mph.
All I can think of in my buzzed state - and you say you don't need a tune up...and I hope you don't have a ton of crap in your car.
And what's up crazyguy?

It's well known that warmer less dense air gives slight gas milage improvements, though you forfeit power too. Re-route your air intake to pick up exhaust manifold heat. You could try a thermostat a couple degrees up on standard too. Inflate your tires 4psi over standard all round. Use the thinest recomeded oil for your engine, Use a good oil additive and the best oil (synthetic recomended) Replace your air filter with a high flow K&N type. All this should get you another 2/5mpg on a well tuned engine driven without lead boots. Oh, empty the trunk.
Picture an egg on your gas pedel. Let us know if it works.

If you let go of the throttle downhill in gear the ECU goes into DFCO and you wont use any gas. If you hold the throttle open slightly you run rich. I don't know why but that's what my wideband gauge tells me.
Try gassavers.org instead.

Keeping your tires inflated to the proper psi also helps.
I read this somewhere and thought it was a little funny, but if you keep your car clean supposedly it helps with milage. Something about the aerodynamics and that a car would travel better if it didn't have the drag of dirt hindering the car.

Learn how to calculate your mpg first of all so you can get a baseline. At 400 to a tank I'm going to assume your maintenance is up to date.
If it's a hatchback you can improve your highway mpg by installing a VX rear diffuser and a VX/Si front lip spoiler. Probably wouldn't hurt to get the antenna delete cap. Use 5W20. Keep it under 70 mph. Try some hyper-miling techniques like pulse-and-glide. You're not going to get any more mpg by conventional means.

Great responses guys. I also do think my car is up to date on service. I do however need to check my tires and make sure they are inflated properly.
I do have a stereo in my car that probably adds 150 LBS....sucks!
