Electrical issues. I'm probably at fault.
So during my bout of removing my dash to swap in the black one ..
I believe I may have messed up my signal switch as well as my wiper switch.
When my cousin went to tug back on the dash, the inner gap beneath the gauge bezel snagged the two switches and I heard somewhat of a crunch. I inspected them, nothing really looked broken..
However, after reassembly, and connecting the battery.. the following happens.
WITHOUT keys or ANY form of accessory powered on, my signals as well as taillights are powered up. I can go to turn my headlights on and I get NOTHING.
THEN, when I insert the key into the ignition and power the vehicle up, the windshield wipers come on. It's at it's slowest setting, BUT; when I go to set it on high it doesn't set there. It goes at normal slow speed.
Of course during the dash swap I pulled the negative cable off of the battery so nothing would happen..
Question for you guys. Any tricks you can recommend to me before I spend 200 on both switches that I KNOW will be good (as they're coming from Honda if I order) or should I just bite the bullet and replace them?
Everything else functions properly.

Like I said I'm very open to suggestions. The vehicle is a 94 and it LOOKS like all the electrical stuff could be original. I might as well replace them for good measure.. Just wanted to be sure.
I'm just confused though. It's hard to diagnose a switch as bad when you have no manual on it. I'm not getting any unusual voltage throughout the actual harness that plugs into the switches but on the same token I'm getting continuity between two pins on the actual switch itself.
I can flip my high-beams and they'll flash, I can use my turn signals and they'll work properly--as will my hazards; but I cannot turn on my headlights. So obviously this will need to be fixed pretty quick.

And to add to the confusion, BOTH switches started having issues right after the new dash went in. The only plugs in the harness that weren't plugged in upon reinstallation were those that belonged to the stereo system.
When I turn the key into the on position, like you would if you wanted to run the radio, the windshield wipers wipe.. I dunno WTF has happened.
