Default Transmission shifts BUT NO GO.

I can feel the transmission go into gear. I have it jacked up and neither wheel turns. I have a Y80 trans. It has been doing this since I got it. I took trans apart and cleaned and inspected everything compared to pictures and helms. I saw nothing wrong and put it back together using honda adanced mtf. Still doesn't work. Could it be wiring causing this? Is it necessarily internal of the transmission? Both drive shafts are plugged in and do not turn either. It's in a 93 civic and has new clutch. I didn't do the swap and it was done half-assed. HELP! Any transmission techs out there? Pics on this site http://s189.photobucket.com/al...stuff/

It could be a bastard axle...I have a friend with an ITR swap and it suddenly wouldn't go anywhere...The engine would die like if you let off the clutch, but it would sit there revving and not going...he had a bad axle...with your problems, it sounds just like a bad axle.. If the car dies on you when you let off the clutch in gear at a stand-still, it isn't the clutch or wiring, it's axle-related...

The rpms do not even come down when I shift into gear. Rev it up and nothing. Idle, nothing.

Fixed. I didn't get the axle all the way in. Good thought gotrice16. Finally got it running. Now it needs one hell of a tune and exhaust.

The tell-tale sign of a broken or improperly installed axle is an indicated speed with no vehicle motion.
