i was driving from work yesterday..
all of the sudden i was making a right turn and my car just turned off... lucky enough my friend help me pushed it inside my garage since i wasnt able to start it anymore... checked for gas... i can smell it when it cranks, check sparkplugs, distributor, rotor, sparkplug wires... my battery is new, im running out of options, is ther any sensors that will make the car not start?.... it cranks and cranks... but when i check the spark plugs they are full of gas.... i have also checked for grounds maybe a ground was faulty but doesnt fix the problem either..... i was thinking maybe the TPS sensor... could be screwed.. i heard if that doesnt work the car wont start at all... but i dont know...also can you still get gas in the engine but if you have a weak fuel pump.. will the car start... even do like i said my sparkplugs get fuel wet when i checked them.... HELP!...

Any help/suggestions will surely be appreciated....

 

main relay good?

 

sorry for my ignorance... main relay?... that would be for what exactly...?... or do what... please please!! help!! i gotta go to work on monday and im kinda fustrated... .. and it is still a bad relay if im getting gas?.... help!!... thankz

If you are getting fuel, it probably isn't main relay related. Have you verified that you have spark? As in removing/grounding the plug and seeing if it sparks?

 

yeah... well thats of course sparkplugs... they are changed... lol let me tell you what we have done....... changed rotor, distributor, plugs, wires, .... fuses... getting gas... the gas smell everytime it cranks....alternator checked...??.... what else can it be you know, checked for faulty grounds.. lol fukd up... anyone that works maybe in honda.... would know that....?? help.!

 

is your ingention coil good?

i had that problem on mine.

 

well the ignition coil is sending good spark.... got it checked... however im confused about the ignition control module if the icm... would be screwed would i still get a spark in the coil after?.... then coonnecting it to the distributor... it still sparks... hmm... ICM... or what????........ im running out of options here... it cranks but dam it doesnt start!!

 

then it has to be a simple wire running from the ecu, if not could be a ground wire
a simple ground wire could cause your whole car not to turn over.

 

hummm i think i got it ...

check your timing belt you prolly knocked it off timing...
i know if its off by like 1 cm it wont crank your car over. happen to me.

 

I would think that you may pop your valve off and look for the timing belt if it's broken. If it does, there is now way that it would give spark that's why your spark plugs are wet.
