just sand down enough to scuff the wheel alot of people like to sand to the bare metal but i think thats over kill and do alot of thin coats in the groves of the spokes..

Wheels look pretty good. They look nice with the Ralleye Red.

Do you dry your car with sandpaper when you wash it?

You are the 2nd person who has painted their rims that I approve of. That looks really good.

I generally have high standards.

I didn't mean it like that...

Painted rims just isn't my thing. So for someone who doesn't like painted rims to say, "I like those," it takes a lot.

Aftermarket lugs on stock wheels is a no-no. The seats are different, your wheels will fall of for sure.

There are some, but they are all ugly. You could spend hella money and buy factory NSX lugs that are black.

it's not....the seats are exactly the same compared to any other wheel out there.

because thats untrue...there are conical lug seats and acorn shaped lug seats. stock wheels have the acorn while tuner wheels use either a 60 or 45 degree conical lug seat.

i've used aftermarket lugs on stocks wheels. they never came off.

EDIT: maybe i did jump the gun and didn't know there was a difference. but again....i've used aftermarket lugs on stock wheels.
