Default Is this a weird problem? Alternator related

Ok so my alternator was working fine the other day but while I was doing my wire tuck, I repinned some wires wrong.....

After I fixed everything, my battery drained. So my first thought was alternator is bad, then I took a voltmeter and checked the voltage. It was 12.6 and when I accelerated the car it went up to around 15V.... But if I remove the battery ground the car shuts down...

So I think that the alternator is not providing enough current?
